Issue 2 is about School in France and let me tell you that there is so much to say. I have chosen topics which, I believe, describe it best. In Issue 2, you will discover more about how the French school system works but not only, you will discover the school traditions (what the kermesse is, why Wednesday is referred as the "children's day", why French people don't wear school uniforms...), you may enjoy baking your own madeleines and discover other sweet treats. How about finding out if French school children did drink wine at the canteen, myth or reality? and for the Trivia lovers, do you know why the four-colour BIC pen has a ball at the top of it or why the BIC cristal is transparent? If this picks your curiosity, treat yourself with a copy of the Issue 2! You may be surprised by what you will learn!

Each issue is based on a specific topic which summarises French culture and traditions. You will learn about how French people do certain things and why, but also learn about history, inventions, places, food and recipes, and of course, we can't talk about culture without mentioning artists, movies and books.
The magazine is written in French and in English. Why? Well, you don't have to speak French to want to learn about France and its culture.
However, if you are learning French, this magazine is a must have in your journey! Articles in French are written at varying proficiency levels and it helps having the English translation next to it. You will also find a few pages about French language, vocabulary, expressions. Last but not least, each article is recorded as an audio file so you can practice your listening comprehension.
The Way to French Magazine is a magazine which means that you can flip pages as you go. Read an article here and there. Enjoy looking at the pictures while resting on a sunny day at the beach or at home on a rainy day.
We have a saying in France : "joindre l'utile à l'agréable". Literally, it means combining "business with pleasure" or "kill two birds with one stone". And this is kind of the essence of the magazine: combining an enjoyable time reading while learning a few things or two!
